Decals applied like a pro! From where I'm standing (CET) it is tomorrow - where's my daily hit? The decals put up a hard fight Dierk, I even had to trim them with special scissors! There's always a feed delay for our European affiliates, sorry for that!

WOWZERS! That is something to look at right there. Great job. Did they have guy manning the 6 guns on top of the turret during a bombardment?

WOWZERS! That is something to look at right there. Great job. Did they have guy manning the 6 guns on top of the turret during a bombardment? I've often wondered the same thing Marc! I know that in previous configurations there were optical range finders mounted in those spots so it would've been possible for the crew to occupy those positions while the 14-inch guns were in action. Talk about a front-row seat to the action though!

Jeez now I'm falling in love with a battleship ! ***Andy, she's mine, I want to marry her ! NOOOOOO!!! I am too late... damn it! But she is my favorite! On serious note, it is truly one of best builds I have seen out of your man cave in El Paso! This is something I will always remember just like your 100th cutaway build.

Stunning result! I'll have to leave it at that - simply run out of superlatives over the course of the last 16 pages...

Your other builds that were sitting on the shelf thinking they were in the lead for a personal best just got nervous. What a finish. Love the photo of the Kingfisher on the turret. And talk about sneaking on in under the wire or the MoM!

Delta, glad you enjoyed the ride! It's amazing how far technology and detail level has come with models and ships in particular. Hard to believe that the only thing I needed to add to what was in the box for this build was just some metal gun barrels! Wouts, you're hooked now! Yamato is calling... As for the build speed, well there's a war on and I have to try to keep up in my own way with the likes of Dupes and Tony Lee! Chaos and Anthony, much appreciated gents! Dierk, hard to believe it ran to 16 pages eh? I appreciate the extensive use of your vocabulary throughout the voyage my good sir. Marc, they will be even more nervous when it gets its own special display case and shelf arrangements. Just made it under the deadline due to the extra holiday-induced bench time availability. Of all the details on this one, I have to say that I was most pleased with how the Kingfisher turned out as it was the one thing I was most unsure of!

Followed this one on FB. Regardless of the subject you always put 110% into every build and it really shows on the Old Gal here. Fantastic work as always Bill. Looking forward to seeing the wingie get built.
