Andy
Well no promises but I will certainly try and I can see that all the good builders seem to have stayed with it.

Teabone- We hope to see you around cause we enjoy your company! Jeremy- Thanks mate! Yeah I hated it as soon as I had it glued to the turret so looked everywhere in the cave until it was found. Managed to work on more PE for two nights... one of boxes was odd shaped so it was a challenge but yet fun at the same time getting it done. Not much left to do... little more PE on the last box then I can attach all tools. Thanks for looking!

Todd- Don't we all love the color of brass? LOL Thanks boss!
Marc- HAHAHA! I wish... I will not consider myself that good until I master in soldering. One day hopefully. Thanks my friend!
Anthony- No kidding about patience... it is not one of my strengths. I almost gave up while dealing with that odd shaped box. Cheers!
Leon- Thanks my fav wizard!
Dierk- LOL! Clasps are not bad... its those damn hinges that got me cussing few times. But after few it was not that bad. Unfortunately there's four more hinges for me to build. YUK! Thanks buddy!
GOOD NEWS the wife will be out of town visiting her mother for three days... I smell plenty of bench times coming up!

Just don't glue your fingers to your nose while you're glue-sniffing Andy! Nice progress on those PE boxes, always nice to see some of the big stuff like this in addition to the tiny details.

Jeremy- Thanks mate! Bill- Thanks professor! Good thing it is still legal to sniff glue here in Indiana. No more PE work I think... Guys- Wanted to post an update but apparently Photobucket has been down since 8am. Will post when it is up and running...

Guys, Photobucket is finally up and running... Safe to say there is no more PE work. Not much left... the only thing I didn't do was the smoke discharger that I found to be absolutely unnecessary because we can not see the details inside the box. Instead of PE hooks, I had bad experience with them in my previous Sd.Kfz 232 build that they didn't stay on that well I used resin hooks from Tiger Models. I think they will work better. I had to sand the hooks to make them look thinner. It sure beats using PE hooks that comes in two real tiny pieces! Latest... Added wirings to the head lights... I plan to add little more stowage. BUT not exactly as shown on the Black Dog box! It is a pet peeve of mine... how in the world the helmets and stuff are hanging on the turret if there are no hooks? Looking at all references there were no hooks in those places. Likewise for stowage blocking the drivers view as seen in the picture below. Thanks for looking!

Nice details, Oh yes thanks andy your post is remind me about Lifting hooks, I found your aftermarket name is tigermodels! I was looking out for after market resin lifting hooks for many years, I disliked P.E. Lifting hooks - error shape and lots of work time with folding.. folding. so I prefer resin hooks look like cast. folding-less.

As you know, German armour's not really my thang - but this is starting to look the perro's cojones with all that nice AM stuff. Couldn't agree more about stowage put in places where there isn't anywhere to attach it to - that's just illogical captain.

Looks like plenty of gear to go on this baby Andy! You're right about the placement of some of the stuff at times...it's the old 'Verlinden clutter' temptation that comes up. Stuff gets added or stuck on because it looks neat but doesn't follow much of a logical pattern for why it should (or shouldn't!) be in that particular spot.

Jeremy- Thanks mate! I think I need to buy more of those Tiger sets. Local shop sells those I think.
Todd- Thanks boss! No more shiny stuff I promise!
Deano- Thanks king of 72nd world!
Dierk- I am glad I am not alone... perhaps somebody should tell Black Dog about this. LOL Thanks buddy!
Bill- "Verlinden clutter"? That was good one! It pays to study many actual photos of those little panzers.

Guys, so sorry for being slow... this month is probably the busiest times at the office. But managed to find time to work on the little panzer. Added few more stowages. Water canteens... Scratch built spare tracks rack... Added missing rivets and clips to the hooks as seen in reference books... I was going to have it primed over the weekend but ran into issues with the resin figure I originally planned to use. It simply won't fit inside the cupola. Apparently it is made for earlier Panzer II variants with split hatches instead of this. Not even another resin figure from Alpine could fit inside so I had to look thru my stash and I found this styrene figure from Dragon. Replaced the head with Alpine for better details... I will continue to add details to the figure before I can take my airbrush out. Thanks for looking my friends!

To prevent the crews from sticking their magnetic helmets & canteens haphazardly over vision ports? Awesome stuff so far Jeff

One of my fav pictures I ran into... notice helmets hanging on both sides next to the hooks. See the stowage in the rear? Another one... I thought this was interesting... wiring around the turret so they can hang stuff. Hope you enjoyed the pics...
