I wish Revell would scale up their little Stearman to 1/32nd scale. I'd be good for two of them without a second thought! The Ventura is one of my all time favorite aircraft, and had quite a track record in WWII. One of these days I'm going to get off my butt and do an Alutens bomber. gary Yeah it is one the work horses that didn't get much press. Ahhhh a 1/32 stearman!!!! That would be one to have for sure. as I write this, there is a really, really nice Stearman parked in a hanger a couple miles north of me. Didn't see it much this summer, but the years prior it was as common as ducks flying over. It's even painted like the model pictured! Been trying for a year now to get pictures of it, and looks like it will take some serious markers to get it done. I'm getting old, and my one complaint about the Revell kit is very simple (I have a couple of them). Why did they mold it in white plastic? Hard for me to make out the details. I have not started one yet, but the first thing I'll do is to give it a very light coat of grey primer. Plus rigging it scares me to death. I honestly think that Revell doing a 1/32 Stearman is the ticket to a big seller. But even better would be a 1/24th scale kit (still won't be huge). A1/24th scale kit is a license to print money. gary
