Well done on getting your brushes back Remco! Nieuwegein had a bit of an Alzheimery feel to it for me too: forgot to take my shopping list, left the camera in the car, and forgot something else - but have forgotten what that was...

Glad you were able to get your brushes back! I know that feeling...you get attached to a set of tools and when you can't have them, it's a loss. Some of my most trusted brushes are starting to wear out and I know it will be sad when I have to replace them. Igloo's coming along nicely with the start of the w/w!

Yes, i was very happy. But i had to wait almost two looooooong weeks. I wil have them tomorrow. And i wil bring the T-30 also. I want to paint it as much as possible with acrylics. I consult Todd sometimes for the right aproach for techniques with Vallejo paints. I think with the auxileries set, i must achieve some results, the same as with oils and enamels. Less the smell and a new adventure!!

Hi Todd!
It the Vallejo 73999 set with the washes, decal mediums retarder and glaze mediums. I think its a great adition to the Vallejo paints. Maybe the most important to have beside the paint itself. The downside (if you can call it a down side), is that you have to see for yourself what characteristics it has. Or a bit searching on the internet. Especialy the glaze and retarder (the most important two of the set). I think these are key componements of weathering and figure painting with acrylics. I still have to explore their use and benefits till their full potential. Although its sometimes more tempting to go to the enamels / oils again due my inexperience with these special items.

Hi Guys!
Wingnut, i am going to make the snowblocks from a product called Pecision ice and snow. I am ver critical about snowy themes in modeling. Its one of the most difficult things to replicate, the same is with water. I am going to create some malls to cast the snowblocks in, then removing the malls and cut the snowblocks in to the desired length and shape. I hope i can pull it of. Its the first time i have to work with this product, but seeing the youtube films i have great faith in this poduct. Also it want to specialize myself in winterthemes.
Regards,
remco
