Fellow modelers, As you probably know I've finished my first rust project today so... ... it was high time to clean the showcases and to install the rusty Dodge between the other models, which is always a 'moment suprême'. At that moment an old diorama caught my attention : another Dodge (Skybow's Command car) I built years ago, quite dated and screaming for a facelift ! Just for the sport of it I've decided to put a one week deadline on the entire project Probably I won't make it but I'm sure the idea will kick my own a$$ ;D This won't be a build log, a sort of report however will follow after exactly one week, starting tomorrow ! Wish me luck...I'll need it !

Thank you fellas !!! Tomorrow the painting can begin, I still have to 'age' the seats tonight. Some things have been removed to change the look slightly (for example the tool rack on the back, the antenna mount). Best regards ! G.

Your one crazy dude G. I am looking forward to this one. I know it can be done. I did the BTR70 in one week.
The model looked good before but I think she'll be even better now.

Rob, thanks to you I'm now infected by the rust virus ! I don't know if I will make it in one week, it's worth trying it and what is more important is the fact that I have to move on and not neurotically nitpick on things (( omg does one person on earth know what I mean My talent for learning English wasn't that great at school...it shows here, sorry guys.)) eastrock, Rob is responsable for all of this !!! No chance Dicky friend, I'll need seven days at least ! And even then...

Looking great, G!
as for Rob he influence us to go further outside our comfort zone. especially here in my country, not a lot of rust builders they are more keen on clean weathering.

Dicky mate, I'm doing the best I can. Tomorrow's day 7 and I'm afraid I won't make it. Anyway, this is a great experience and very educational too. Normally speed is my enemy but now I now it can be a good thing too. eastrock, that's it, I've left my comfort zone by putting a deadline on the project ! TRM, thank's for the encouraging words ! Today I've almost finished (99%) the chassis, here's a pic I've made during the job : I hope to give it another go tomorrow...time's almost up but I won't give up !!! Best regards ! G.

Dicky, I'm afraid I have some bad news...I dropped it on the floor by accident while weathering. It was completely desintegrated. I'm an optimist, the experience remains and I had a good time. And I still have the other Dodge !
Best regards ! G.
