Afternoon fellas! Just finished assembling the track links for the sprockets.Going to let these cure for an hour or so before I remove them.So far thinks are going smoothly even though I glued the hulls together. I still should be able to slip the top run over the return rollers when the time comes for final gluing.I'll post pics later on.
Here's todays progress on the sprocket tracks! Going to let these cure overnight as they are and I need to add one more link to the top of the sprocket tomorrow.Having fun and finally getting the hang of these. Hope you like.
Agree with the lads - firing position is way cool. If you haven't glued the return rollers together yet, it might be easier to get the tracks on if you glue the inside half of the roller to the hull, fit the track and then glue the outside half of the return roller on.
i.gifer.com/6gG.gif You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.
Looking splendid Leon! Mean so to be Green machine! I suppose a little white glue would keep the returns in check until finished with the track and the work them back and forth a little, they should come right off.
