Thank you c3p0, most of it is Atak zim, I did the white zim parts. I purchased an MG34 barrel for the bolt mount in the front armor plate, I think it looks much better than the kit barrel which looks like a disaster when you compare the two. I'm progressing with the locomotive these days so airbrushing the Panther isn't far away now. Best regards ! AG.

Just a heads-up AG, that type of barrel was used in the standard MG34 and not the 'tank variant' type that was used in the ball mounts on panzers. That type had a protective sleeve instead of the usual perforated cooling jacket like the one you've got. That may be why you think the kit's barrel isn't good enough...it's likely missing all the detail that it should be missing!

Thanks in advance bro ! The pic I posted above is by Lionmarc, but not sure if those are still widely available. Be careful of the ones that RB has, their normal 'tank variant' MG34 isn't the full barrel type, it's the coaxial type that goes into the turret. Can't be of more help than that unfortunately!

Now you tell me - guess what I've used on my Panther? This is the one you want to stay away from for the hull MG...if you've got a full sized version, that's a different story!

Great save by Bill... it would have sucked if you had it glued first. I guess we all owe Bill a round of Belgian beer now...
