Well, it was a pain, but I got there! The instructions for this section just leave so much to be desired. On both the front and rear hubs, there are parts that have to go in a certain way or face a certain way, and if they don't you're absolutely SOL. Some of these are obvious, but some are very subtle and when you're trying to keep all the hubs separate, things get confused. Ultimately, though, I got all the bits installed and the result is a workable suspension and all eight wheels on the ground. There's not a lot of travel in the suspension, but I somehow suspect there's not a lot of travel on the real thing, either. It's a giant truck, not a rockcrawler. Anyway...the video shows the workability better than my words can.

I must say that Trumpeter has really done a good job on the engineering on that suspension. Looks like it was a PITA, but in the end it's great results.

Those wheels from DEF Model are killer... now I want to get them for all wheeled armors if possible.
