Three days to go. Holidays? Check. Winter tyres on? Check. Some spare money? Check (guess it wont last long) Models for competition? 9 x check. www.facebook.com/chebmodelshow?fref=tsIm looking VERY much forward to see those Czech fellas again. I visited the Prague E-Days (E stands for Eduard) some years ago, and it was a blast. The Czech and Eastern European modelers in general have another attitude to modelling. While expos in Germany can be like "Hey, got something ready, here it is..." - whats not bad, there are very talented ones of course - I have the feeling that expos there are like "EVERY model has to bee good!". And yes, they are. Hard to compete with that. And - the expos will take 1 day only (German expos are saturdays/sundays in most cases). My personal set list for the expo is this: > "Winter is coming!" / Nutcracker [SciFi] > Iron Strider / "Pigs of War" [SciFi] > "Birds of Prey" [SciFi] > Space Battle Ship "Bumble Bee" [SciFi] > Kampfanzug "Krabbe" [SciFi] > Knight Venator [Figures smaller than 60mm] > Spanish Admiral [Busts] > "The Steampunker" [Busts] > "Bugatti Vanship" [Civil Cars, 1/32] excited greetings. Lucas.

Good luck with the show - hope you clean up. From the few German shows I've been to I tend to agree - sometimes appears to be more important to fill the tables, regardless of the quality.

Looks like you had a great time. Impressive exhibits! Well done on the gongs, too - congratulations! Oh yes, I did. This sunday there was a BBQ for the exhibitors at the local airport as well, but we had to leave earlier. Didnt expect the gongs at all.

Many thanks. @ghost: LOL, yes we had! Great to see/read you again. Addendum - the official pictures of all winners: docs.google.com/presentation/d/18iTdmU4BhsMbs54uyLTroeRsGXvpbHvjNvynsXlze_8/edit#slide=id.pSomething what really catched my eye were the Junior category models. If even 14 yo build brilliant tank dioramas etc. - its no wonder what the adults can create. Thats something you can watch quite often in the "far east", the club mentality is much better than here (sorry to say so).
