Leon I left it in four or five sub-assemblies so I could spray in,out, top, bottom and all around. I then put it all together and sprayed the high lights and fade. HTH Uncle Tony

Andy it looks like a circus wagon to me right now, maybe the washes will tone them down.

Update Filter and Tracks Filter Applied and Tracks Colored That aluminum barrel is so heavy and sticks out so far the attachment points can't hold it up,i'll most likely just glue it in position. Next up: Respray the Green over spray on the Oxide where they join to give the impression they intended to finish the Green after the scaffolding was moved to a lower level. Then the Future coat and Decals. Hope your weekend is going well Tony lee

Filter and tracks look good Tony! Sounds like you have a good fix for that heavy barrel.

I left those cylinder snug hoping they would hold it up and they do but the mounting arms on top are what's the weak point.
Oh well it won't be the first time to glue the pivots on a heavy barrel Leon.
Thanks Tony lee

Some barrel sagging was inevitable given how little counter-weight there is at the back end I suppose Tony. I bet keeping to movable sure helped a lot with the painting and detailing...but all good things must come to an end with the final install.

Update Wash: In keeping with my project story with the Grille about to take the field when it was captured I only applied a light over-all wash coat. You people still think the Elepant is huge? I'll start applying the pin wash tomorrow. Thanks Tony lee
