The pathfinder box contains several additional drones. Most impressive, because double the size of the others is the M83 marker drone. And thats the reason why I painted the accents green: the Tau folks already have a blue-grey skin tone.

Give me Alclad Give me fire give me that which I desire. Maybe a bit hartd to see here is the little spots of Maskol for the battle damage & worn effect.

Nice color scheme with the greens, like it! I know the minis are very small, but try to avoid the green markings looking too "watery", as seen on the battlesuits here and there.
The scratches and dirt on the devilfish are looking great so far.

Thank you Jochen - the Tau markings are a typical characteristic of each tribe and a "must paint" so to say. So theres almost no chance to avoid these. For the oob version (tribe: Vior'La with red markings) there are decals in the box. www.advancedtautactica.com/resource/att_comp/medusa1.JPGI know, sometimes they really look a bit strange. Tomorrow, there will be a "Malwahnsinn" (=painting madness") at our local shop in the evening hours, and Im participating there. I heard that a certain very talented painter will be there too, so I hope we can tackle this together - with a 10/0 brush and two or three coffee. Some figure will be left, theyre planned as a painting training reserve. I really think practice will be the key.
