OK. Now you're just having fun on your boat. This is serious business! There will be no fun at any stage!
The food items, polymer baking clay? It works well for that sort of thing.

Ok, I understand. I'll write 100 times: "I will not play with my food anymore. I will not..." Rice and vegetables are stretched sprues cut in small pieces. The meat is a rest of 1mm plastic strip, sanded, painted dark brown, sliced and painted the cross sections light brown. For very small pieces with regular profile this is much easier than clay. I think about polymer clay for some of the bigger and less regular pieces, like hanging peking ducks, a bowl with fortune cookies, some spring rolls, whatever... appetite comes with modeling

Yeah, this is looking very good! And now for some drinks, teas or coffees, some refreshing juice. Must be easy to make and COULD fit in nicely. Love it so far and cannot wait how you will proceed!

That looks very convincing so far. PlusModel makes good bottles, and Meng too.

The full menu is no problem: noodles, rice, poultry (could be rats as well, or whatever you find) and vegetables. And all combinations of it, with fancy names. Plus lots of undefinable deep-fried things (old newspaper, returned meals and so) with colorful spicy dips.

Meanwhile... Another dish to the left... some of these things you should not ask, with noodles. A tablet. The life belt before and after. Not sure about the ropes, maybe I find a better solution here. The wooden floor aged.

I know there should be photo etched kitchen knifes available, but this is more fun: Paper and a cutting plotter. The handle has 3 layers of paper to add some thickness.

And I thouhgt at first look, the knifes were Historex parts. Paper, how cool!
But one question, for what is the life belt?? Isn´t this a hovering ship? Anyway, looks cool. And the meals are really rocking!

The life belt is there in the original, too. Reason enough I think, even in the story's universe this vehicle must be a pure event and decoration gag. They decorated it like an (then) ancient boat of the famous thai floating market. Just for nostalgic means and as restaurant theme. So the life belt has no more function than a decoration element in a fish restaurant. At least, there's no need to upgrade a real wooden boat with a hover engine - you wouldn't gain anything this way except nice optics.

The floor is too clean for now. The treatment you used on the metal plate at the side of the ship looked about right for a kitchen which might be considered, "clean-ish".

Right, the floor ist only "aged" up to now. This had to be done with the separate boards before they were built in. For final stains, especially in the stove area, I have to position the furniture first.

Trying to fold some fortune cookies. If not, these are Shrimps "en croûte". Or dried mushrooms. Anything like that...

Now we know you're crazy if you're trying to do 1/35 scale fortune cookies. Keep it up Jochen! Love all the little details you're adding to the kitchen.

What did you use for the cookies? And the belt is in the movie? Must check it out again of cause! Remember the flying coffee bar in THE FIFTH ELEMENT? Maybe a new idea for next project? Imagine all the pots and cans you can create, harhar!
Keep it coming, this is really great!

Time for an update... The tiller. Yes, it's an airbrush 1/35 there Not very functional, but that's the reference. There must be a servo at the rudder. Added a little display, even if it's not in the film. From an aesthetical point of view, there wa something missing. As with the engine, I tried to catch the overall forms and characteristics, but changed some details.
