Why unreaistic? Liquid oxygen isn´t unusual so far. Ok, but not in a glass or plastic bottle Otherwise - in the future, who knows? I'm sure he needs the liquid oxygen for some molecular gastronomy experiments Thanks again for all those great comments, it's a big motivation! Some more progress:

Some more details on the workbench: Some towels were added. Don't miss the "German Brotzeit" event weeks Don't know what dried sausages are for in asian kitchen, but they were there in the film.

Less spectacular at the moment: testing different ropes for the tires and starting the banner: Original concept art, movie snapshot and my version. I liked the handwriting character and decided to fill the rather vague top right area with some readable characters. The numbers are taken from the concept art - it's not my phone number, so better don't try to call

My vote is for the rope in the middle unless you deliberately want the super-heavy look. The model is all the more impressive since I went and found the original clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftHiY3m41RY

The rope in the middle (0.5mm) is my fav, too. Will look like this: I was very impressed by this scene when I was in cinema back then. Almost overrun by so many details in so few seconds, and finally the surprise that it is flying(!) in the air... an awesome moment in my personal cinematic history

My vote would be for the middle size as well, seems right for the scale and tire size you've got for the boat. Love the personal touch on the banner!

Really inspiring, I am more and more speechless seeing you eye for detail and ability TO DO IT. Just wondering, how a wreck, designed by Chriss Foss, might look like after you have build it!
