It is possible to make on stones a dark washes and then dry brush light paint.

I didnt do a wash on them yet so yes that is something I could do. What I did was shoot a very dark color into the corners and recesses, then sprayed a general color over that and drybrushed with a third color... Come to think of it I probably have a pre-made wash that would work!!! Great idea! Thank you!

Looks like your scene is coming together nicely Brian. Depending on what you're going for, after you do the wash on the rocks, you could probably very strategically/lightly dust some pigments as well to give it a slight 'wind-blown' look from a concept standpoint.

Seems like it's that time of year for this kind of 'other' activity Brian!

I think your base is off to a great start!!! Glad I am not alone... just finished remodeling the master bath. Dig your new cabinet by the way!

really happy with the way it is coming out.... just new doors that I am making from oak and bead board, and a coat of white paint to go over the peach! the original kitchen was built in 1965 and hasnt seen any upgrading since. The original doors and drawer faces are actually plywood!..... the floor will be last and hoping to find a nice lamenate floor that looks like cobblestone or something.
