Hi my friends! Sorry for such a long silence! I was so caught with my professional works that I hadn't really any time for my hobby. Also, I took part in a cultural event, a international Comics Salon in my town, with my friend, Bogdan. I'll make a short chronicle. So, there, one of new friends asked me to make him a medieval knight, so here it is this project. Again, an Ek Castings figurine form my grey army. I didn't find any precise historical references, despite my researches, so I tried to make something ok. Only brushes, Vallejo acryllics, washes, inks and pigments. Just some progres, a lot to do untill the end. This is the result of the last 3 days, I took advantage on a small vacance starting with the weekend and the National Day of Romania (December 1st). Cheers, Nicolae

Thank you my friends for your kind words to my humble work. If my friend will be pleased with it, I'll be satisfied. But I'm not done yet, and some elements are calling for a comeback. Cheers, Nicolae
P.S. Shay, together with my friend, Bogdan, we were specials guests of a National Comics Salon in our town, Craiova. I'l write about it later, this night.

Hi everybody, I hope after a great Christmas with your family, friends, we could profit of these days and have also some time for our projects. Here is my Italian knight with some small progress (back of the shield, leather elements, strap shoulder and some base idea with bark): Happy Modelling and hope to hear us in a New and Better Year! Nicolae

Warm thanks Guy! This project will arrive in a private collection, the second after the Roman Legionary. So, I had to beat my own standards to become better, isn't it?

Thank you, Andy! Unfortunatelly,I didn't have enough time for the hobby last weeks so not too much progress. I started to prepare the base with some barks, white glue, Dass, Miliput and a Mat Gel Base from Vallejo (26126). On a wooden round base I fixed the pieces of barks with White Glue then I added some Dass in the cracks. In order to a better stability, I used some miliput to fix the figurine on the high base. This is the result, I hope you'll have all a good week! Nicolae

Thank you, Leon, just halfway. I'll have to deepen the contrasts and to add some more variety. Then place some earth and vegetation, verify some details and hope it will look close to what I've got in my mind. I'll be back! Nicolae

Thank you, Shay! I'm glad you like, still I've made only some steps forward. I try to organize my program in order to get at least one hour per day to paint. I can't say how long it will last, but at least I hope to end this figurine. Warm regards, my friend! Nic

Thank you Leon!I already made a few changes regarding the vegetation in order to give a more natural aspect to my scenery. I'll post soon some photos as quick as I complete also some details (belts, scabbard, some metallics), I'll hope just paint the base and seal it with a varnish. And that's all!
