Hi fella's , my first wingy thang ever !!!!!..... although it only has one wing  .. Anyhoo this is ICM bf109 4-f which for my first build of a wingy thang was not the best choice . So yeah after Stalingrad the Germans were pushed back losing airfield's , resources ect ....... so this will be a little dio of a German airfield being attacked from land and air ..........   The cockpit sucked and as it is a winter scene then having a tarp seemed apt .... still gotta add some things to it plus Im waiting for paint to arrive....will start the figures soon . |

Are you going to go for a heavy weathered look so that bird really sticks out of the snow? Following this one Deano, let it snow let it snow lol

Thanks for joining me lads , hope the tarp looks good under paint .... still experimenting with the sculpt but feel I am picking things up the more I do it . Going for the ole Bicarb snow Dierk .... cheap as chips .....dont forget I am Scottish lol |

Scot? And you bought the stuff with your own money? Great minds think alike - that's not only what I was going to suggest, but I've just come back from the chemist with a kilo of the stuff, although here it's cheaper if you ask for 'Natriumhydrogencarbonat'  Personally, I think the stork dropped me off in the wrong place - it should have been in Yorkshire: I have the physical attributes (short arms, deep pockets) and frequently utter the Yorkshire battle cry ' HOW MUCH???' |

Interesting idea Deano. As always, I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out book marking as I type.... I also like idea of saving a lot of modelling time by covering what you don't like up.
