I haven't done much with them yet but all I've used so far is scissors, the stuff is so fine it cuts easily. Just cut it big and nibble down to size. The one problem is it can produce nasty little fragments so have a magnet handy to collect them.
Regards,
M

For reasons explained elsewhere I'm not getting round to much (or any) building right now - but that doesn't stop me from bargain hunting So here are the latest installments of the on-going series 'My credit card company hates me' Pt III (32.50€ instead of 49€) Pt IV Local drugstore is closing for refurbishment, so it's 25% off everything, and I also had a 10% off voucher - sanding sticks galore from rough to polishing: Pt V (the lot for 23€) Buildings roads and pavements: yes some of the plaster bits are broken, but that's what glue was invented for. Two more buildings: Should be an incentive to get better at dioramas. Product-placement of our ancient washing machine for discussion purposes only

I managed to get roped into a Pearl Harbor 75th anniversary project...1/700 will be a new experience for me, brought home by the size of the barrels that I ordered to go with them! At least I won't have to worry about finding shelf space for it when done.

Okay I realize I shouldn't spend so much on new kits when I have so many unfinished but in my defense, just look at it:

Yeah, right. A former Zaporozhian Cossacs leader deserves this size for sure. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taras_BulbaVery good haul Dierk. Seems you got some Busch accessories as well? just leave your number if you need spare parts for your Siemens washing machine.

A lot of gooddies there (Bandai Star Wars serie is gorgeous!). I try to be calm and not to splah my money about figurines who'll remain a long time in my Grey Army. But I'm still far for being a good boy. So here it is one of my last orders (another two are coming! The last, I promise!). In the left high corner is the last product of the French Club from Lyon, representing the Roman Emperor Nero. Couldn't resist. Pretty nice kit for the price. Especially since you can build it up with two pretty dramatically different looking cabs. Only complaint is the rear cover is missing the canvas doors on the back. The peerless max copy of the kit from the cretaceous period had that right. Jeff

A nice turn of phrase, but I SO wish you hadn't used it; I've now got a head full of dioramas involving 1/35th scale dinosaurs and similarly scaled vehicles... Cheers, M

Me too Dierk. Ive seen a few live (but not in action). Born in the former GDR, this was one of the jets pretty much used here. Anyways, Ill do the Cuban version. The build is meant as a little test object for testing Vallejo metal acrylics via airbrush BEFORE Im gonna use them on my Mosquito hunter (Bf 109 G-6 flown by Hans Gabler >> Eduard Profi Pack as well, the new tool version). So far the colors did their job very well, I used them on smaller figures first (for example the Tau vs. Eldar vignette) and bigger figures (Taras Bulba). So far Im very happy with them!

You'll love the Vallejo Metal colours, Lucas - been really tempted to build a bare-metal MIG just because of them. But my stash is bursting at the seams as it is.

Put these away after I bought 'em just before WNW ended the free shipping. Moving some stuff around and they popped up to the top of the stack.
