Been after this for a while. This one I actually paid the going rate for  But what made the bitter pill easier to swallow was that my winning bid was 1 euro cent higher than that of my next nearest competitor:  Kit contains the Zvezda/Italeri BT and a resin, white metal and styrene conversion. |

Well I acquired a couple of more nice kits today.The post-retirement stash continues to grow  The King Tiger is one of the newer Dragon reboxes,it come with Magic Tracks and a bonus set of PE fenders.Got it on Ebay for $56.00 total.And I have been looking forward to the Tamiya Tomcat for awhile now.I still will have to take a look look at an AMK Tomcat down the road though. |

Man that Tomcat build is gonna be killer Tojo!
Got this one the day before yesterday.............engine/ transmission donor parts for my current VW Bus project. Been wanting another one of these since I parted with the last one I had 25 years ago anyways so I'll replace the engine with the one in the new release of the Revell Pro Street Beretta in a couple of months.

I squarely lay the blame for this one at ogrejohn's feet - if it hadn't been for his Trumpy build, I wouldn't have started looking for this kit. I think it's not just the CC company, the sellers are starting to hate me too  33€ (including rather high 7€ postage)  Looks like the suspension will be workable, PE with a bending aid for the engine grills, engine - looks like I won't be spending any on AM goodies for this one. |

Couldnt say no to these very good books for small money (15€ for Tomcat Alley, 12 € for the Grey Ghosts and 2 € for the AirDoc about F-4). Plus several other goodies for the stash. Was a great and big expo near Dresden city, with a lot of great models and modellers. Therefore, not only the competition entries filled some big tables - each a piece of art more or less.  Ehmmm. Okay?!   |

The latest argument backing up my decision to concentrate on soviet stuff - it's just not as sought-after  RRP just shy of 20€, got it for 8.70€:  As with the bridge layer from the same company it's based on the Zvezda/Italeri BT-5, this time with additional styrene sprues for the turret and two sets of road-wheels. Option of building three versions. PS: I own this page! |

Chaos: I've never seen those two Bandai kits before. That Salamis and Magellan kit looks cool!
I recently picked this up off of ebay. It's got a 4 cylinder Turbo under the hood but I've been wanting to build a Big Block 460 Fox Bodied Mustang for a while now and this one looks like it's a good candidate...........

New kit- The weirdest looking APC I've ever seen. A "Nagmachon" with a slat-armored "Doghouse."  I'm going to try an unconventional color scheme for this one, grungy yellow like old construction vehicles. No logic behind it. Just seems fitting somehow. |

After my beloved Iwata Neo packed up for reasons yet to be determined I ordered a cheap replacement - has more bells and whistles than the Neo: three sizes needles and nozzles, more adjustability and all for about 25 euro including delivery. Parcel from our own Martin just arrived - took its sweet time, but all is well now. First of all we have custome made decals for the BA-10:  Some metal tracks for my '42 T-34:  Next we have a Zvezda GAZ-AA - bought so I can use up most of the parts left over from the BA-10 build:  And last but not least, I finally got myself some decent oils:  Many thanks to Martin for his excellent service! At 11.50€ I couldn't say no. Don't know where they got the 'level 4' rating from though - this is a very simple, some might say basic, kit:  All you get is one sprue and the body - but you do get to choose between wheels with and without hub caps:  I'm going to see if I can fit an engine - got a spare one from a Tamiya kit |
