So I put on a brave face and took my wife clothes shopping on Saturday. My minimal whining and complaining paid off. She bought these home from the model store after work today to say thanks for going.

Managed to score this one for about 27€ - it'll get a TMD resin conversion to turn it into (surprise, surprise) a soviet Lend/Lease 'Tilda:

I've always had a soft spot for these for some reason, although for about 5 seconds I thought you'd lost the plot when I saw the picture but then I thought Lend Lease...even before reading your comments!! I amaze myself sometimes !! I also see you're under some sort of delusion that you "own this page"....... So it's only fair I warn that my mojo is finally making a comeback after the house move and my credit card and paypal accounts have been earning their keep this past week.....so you might just be facing a challenge to your "ownership" .....just watch this space......

Glad you approve of my purchasing choices Andrew! Actually, it was the previous page I claim ownership to I've decided to give ebay sellers some time to recover before I hit them again - I'm still waiting for a few bits and pieces to be delivered, but I'm running out of stash-space

Hi all Well the mojo is well and truly on the way back following the house move and what better way to celebrate than making a 'few' purchases..... . In the same way that Dierk 'owned' the last page, I will be attempting to 'own' this one. Below is first tranche of purchases to come through the door of the new house!!! There are plenty more to follow...... Andrew -------------------------------------- 1/72 Plastic Soldier Company 25 pdr and Morris Quad kitI didn't really need or want this - honest!!! but PSC launched a crowd funding project on Kickstarter to pay for the first set of moulds, so I thought it was my duty to help out. They had a total of 15 stretch goals and what I was really interested in was the ultimate one, a kit of 3 Sextons but unfortunately they just missed out. The kit comes with two tractors, two limbers, and the ability to make one of three different 25 pdrs and even the 17 pdr Pheasant hitched to a 25 pdr carriage! It has four different guns, three different gun shields and two carriages but only one set of wheels, so I'm currently hunting for some wheels to mate with the second carriage. The first attempt didn't work out but I have a cunning plan!! As a thank you to backers they threw in an extra Morris kit, HQ Battery set (RRP £4.99) (link to finished article) and a decal set (RRP £2.99) for FREE!!! For those not familiar with PSC they are quick assembly kits aimed at wargamers so the detail is sometimes a bit lacking but they scrub up really well with a little bit of effort. British no. 19 antenna basesI've been thinking of how I could properly do the British antenna based in 1/72 and then I came across these. Only £2 for seven, so two sets ordered.
British White Tactical SignsI had plenty of red, blue and yellow tac signs but was struggling to find white in bulk without buying more of the other colours which I don't need, then found these on Flea-Bay. I've not used them yet but they look very nice on the paper - varying sizes to suit all my needs plus very crisp and sharp looking! [/url

True to his word Andrew's doing his part to support the post-Brexit economy good haul mate! Dierk - Thanks!! I try to do my best....and even occasionally succeed!! Thanks Leon!! As you will see over the coming days this is only just the start......hopefully my wife won't notice the influx...... Although it might be too late as this arrived yesterday. In this case I did need it but you'll have to wait a bit longer to find out why......

Its been ages since I added anything to the stash. But last month was my birthday and I now have 4 additions to the family, the last one only arrive yesterday. The first one was bought by my better half. She has been buying me kits for a few years now and for the previous 2 she got me 1/10th busts from Young Miniatures. But so far, she had avoided buying anything German. So this year i got a welcome surprise. Well, half a surprise, i was expecting a bust, but certainly not this. And these 3 i got with the cash i was given. I still snuck them in just to avoid the ''do you really need more'' look. Been looking forward to this one since it came out. Planning on getting some AM decals and doing a pre war 3 colour camo which i really like. This i have been after for ages but its really hard to find. There is one on Amazon but that's 200quid. I guess it must be to cover the cost of postage from what ever planet the seller is on. Then just the other week 3 popped up on e-bay all within a few days. And i think i ended up with the best deal. Now i just have to get the resin launcher to put it on. And then this arrived today all the way from Korea. I normally only build German armour. But i decided a while back to build a few modern British vehicles. This is the second addition after building a Chally 1 last year. Going to turn this into a 511 Command with the Accurate Armour conversion. Very pleased with the haul this year.

Firstly well done Bish that looks like a nice haul!!! Now onto my latest acquisitions..... As you some of you will know it was my birthday on Sunday. Having a loving mother means she gives me cash on my birthday so I can spend it 'wisely' . The even better news is that there are another three orders somewhere in the postal system, with at least two more and maybe even three in the pipeline..... So here followeth my 'wise' purchases.... Andrew ---------------------------------------- 1/72 PSC ChurchillsThese have been bought as reinforcements for my son's British forces. Unlike most PSC kits you only get two models per box rather than the usual three - I think is most likely down to the large amount of plastic that goes into each model. As usual with PSC you get the option to make several variants - 6pdr, 75mm, 95mm CS and AVRE with Petard mortar. I already have four of these and have done three 75mm versions and the AVRE, so I will do a 6pdr version as this more accurately reflects the ratio of 6 pdr to 75mm on their deployment in Normandy. The 95mm CS version will add some further balance. 1/72 PSC Pz IVHaving reinforced my son's side I thought it was only fair my German armour also received some reinforcments.... The usual three kits per box with this set and you can make the Ausf F1, F2/G and H. I'll be going with the Ausf H as I already have 2 Gs and it better reflects the period my son and I play - plus I don't have anything with Schürzen! 1/72 Zvezda German 20mm AA GunAt only £3 this is stunning value. It's the third Zvezda kit I have bought and each one has really impressed. I intend to use this for my first ever very basic kit bash but need to find the right vehicle kit, so watch this space...

Getting cold in here. Could it be that a Tornado is coming? Or even two? Those are VERY good kits, and even for an affordable price. At least one of them will get some extra goodies like Eduard PE ladder, cockpit set etc.

Nice hauls everybody! Really love the Arado floaty wingy thingy and can't wait to see it built. Wise investments Andrew! Sweet additions Chaos - but IMHO the Uschi burnishing fluid is a rip. Found some excellent, really fast-acting stuff at 20€ a litre. Latest arrival chez moi - who'd have thunk, Dierk bought a floater: There's a couple or three other kits on their various ways.

Thanks Dierk - the question is will my wife agree with the wisdom of my choices..... So from a wingy thing to a floaty thing!! Is this your first one? At least you've kept with the Russian theme!! Which begs the question why do you only do Russian stuff?
