Hi all Father Christmas very kindly brought me a model overnight!!! It ws almost as if he had read my mind!! I've been after this for a while, especially after seeing the amazing job Sean did about 18 months ago. modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/10032/psc-lloyd-carriers-pounder-gun. I'm not sure if I'm ready to attempt that level of scratch work yet but I intend to try and improve it a little bit but then I have now got a lot of styrene to play with!!! My son also seemed please with the purchase, given that it added further reinforcements to his British forces! Thanks as always for stopping by! Andrew ---------------------------------------

Guys, great stuff you got!!! What did I get? Even tho my mojo has been totally dead for months I still got something from Santa. I collect military helmets too... got this cool Canadian CG634 helmet dated 1997. And I am most excited about this addition... one of my most prized helmets now. WWII German M35 Heer helmet! The chin strap is a repro but I am happy how it looks.

That Abrams could be just the ticket to get you back at the bench Andy.

Neat Helmets DP. Are you a reenactor also? I'd love to. Maybe one day? Right now my body weight exceeds the limit. LOL

To complete my 2016 purchases, dash boards from Yahu and wheels from elf, both for the Zvezda PE-2: New Year's resolutions: get some proper lighting for my AB area, buy fewer kits - not holding out much hope for one of them...

Not for Christmas, but latest delivery from Sincere Hobby Last fall I picked up the RFM "Tusk" kit. If your M1a1 is close to it, you'll like it. I'm holding out for a Meng only for one slight reason. I like the way Meng does the latches and handles better. The M1 tank has been in a constant upgrade mode on the fly. So you may have to make changes inside and outside. gary

The man in Brown just dropped this off at my house Instead of building my own, I thought I would give this a shot. It was cheap, not all that big, but most important to my situation, I can disassemble and store it when I'm not using it.
