Don't recognize the box on the front left...assuming it's tracks. What brand?

Hmm, another kitty - is it too late to turn this into a Bill/v/Tojo thread? I'll be watching either way.

Yes! Looking forward to this one. I should be getting my kit this week. It's coming in from Japan. Already picked up the Dragoon Early Whitmann Tiger and Tiger 131.

Very cool, you done a lot ey . Looks great, especially the feifel system. The only thing which strikes me is the connection between the rear fenders and the side ones. In reality it had much more of a rounded edge, on the photos you are showing it's more like almost square. Strange that Dragon got that wrong Cheers

Wouts, you are right, there are three diffrent fenders for diffrent options, blame it on me and Dragon instructions for picking the wrong fender, but Tiger 132 and 724 do show the square fender option, unless their pics are wrong too.

Hi mate, I did some research (hope you don't mind ^^) and it seems to me that, at least at a certain point, or maybe never - the side rear extensions weren't fitted, or it lost it. Can be seen on this enlarged photo (only for discussion purposes) The photos which I find of 724 (original turretnumber 112) show her without the extensions as well But it's not the fact that the fender extension were fitted on your model (I didn't realize before that some of the 1 Kompanie vehicles didn't have their typical extensions, so thanks for making me look that up ) that bothers me, but it seems (on the photos, maybe it's the angle at which the photos were taken? After all David Byrden gave Dragon advice) that they have quite square edges in comparison with the real ones like on this photo of a model Anywhoo, looking forward to next update (don't keep us waiting for too long now ) Cheers

Thanks for posting that, now that makes things clear. Although I don't get on what proof Dragon has based those fender types. I have never seen them before, nor in photos, nor on discussion thread. Did a search on Tiger Im Focus and David Byrdens own website and haven't come across those...quite odd. According to me (not claiming I know all, but from what I've found) only parts R3/R4 seem correct...would like to know more on Dragons' theory... Btw, (you might already seen it) I found that David Byrdens website has a seperate page on tank 112/724 tiger1.info/tank-page/A2FThere's also a photo showing her rear, and seems she did get the extensions, though not the Dragon proposed ones Darn, this is getting deep, ain't it LOL Cheers

Making good progress on this one Anthony! Can't help any on the head-scratcher over the fender extensions...even though David Byrden serves as an advisor on these kits, that doesn't mean that they always listen or follow his recommendations. The mystery deepens!

The mystery deepens! Thanks Bill,I have actually corresponded with him over on Armorama as the instructions color call outs were wrong. I'm not a rivet counter but I wanted to get the vehicle fender right if possible.

It look good no matter what Dragon did. When it done it will be a Tiger. And a quality Tiger I'll wager.

Almost time for painting! Nice job corralling those tow cables, why Dragon continues to use steel wire for them remains a mystery!
