was up in Andy's neighborhood this afternoon looking for a 38T and another piece of German armor for a kit bash. I picked up a Dragon 38T and another Tasca Jumbo. I was faced with either finding the new production 38T from Hobby Boss (the good TriStar) or an older Dragon and maybe an Italeri. I have the TriStar in my stash, and maybe a Trumpeter somewhere. To be exact I have all the pieces anyway, but didn't want to bust up another good kit without another use for the remainder. I need a good 250/9 half track! More on this later.
I got home with the new Dragon kit with plans on cutting it up. This is a newer 38t-s that comes with a fuel trailer. What a nice little kit! Has two frets of PE, Magic Tracks, and a very nice interior. Even has the engine and transmission; plus what looks like all the linkages. Kinda like a TriStar kit built by Dragon. About the only thing missing is a metal gun barrel! Even the famous 38T rivet detail looks to be well done.
Of course the Jumbo was perfect! gary

DML's 38, the one you got and the previous release with the interior are pretty decent kits. You should have fun!! Enjoy!
