Hi guys! Have question on the misting. Do I need to seal the base coat first? If not, will the thinner affect the base coat in any way? Thanks in advance.

Good airbrush work brother As long as all you're doing is misting you should not need to seal it; just be careful handling it for a couple of hours

Belgium II confirms too... even stronger, I pretty much never seal up my paintwork...both Tamiya paints and Vallejo acrylics are quite strong and not affected by weathering and all ^^ Cheers

Leon, love the camo, it's as real a look as you'll get, very convincing sir and that's the look we aspire to achieve! Took me a long time to realize tanks aren't painted in Rolls Royce workshops and stop being so critical of myself, the amount of re-sprays i've done because my camo wasn't perfect enough is astounding lol! The overall look lies in the small details being brought together as one. Could i believe that a 1/35 Panther crew sprayed your tank on the eve of battle with frayed nerves and at the mercy of the elements, yes absolutely!

I am back!!! Things have been chaotic... you did great for your first attempt spraying camo! You should have seen my first... no any better than yours! LOL
Overspray with very heavily thinned base paint (dark yellow) will tone the green and red camo down and bond them better. Mix 25% base paint and 75% thinner or water whatever you use... then spray quickly and far from the Panther.

Nice one Leon! Lovin the camo scheme. I did a similar camo on a tiger 1/72 and Ive had a small issue with overspray too...simply came back with the dark yellow between the disruptive colours. Lowered the AB pressure a 5 or 7 psi and voila!

Thank you Bob! I was trying to compare this to the before pics and it looks like a subtle change. Just trying to decide if it needs any more coats.
