Is it too groan-worthy a pun to say it's a marked improvement? "LOL" No it's not Dierk! Markings make a big difference.

Evening guys! got the pin wash on and used some dark steel pigments on the tools. Also added a little rust to the exhaust and spare tracks. Now I just need to figure out a filter to tone down the camo again as the clear coat wiped out what I had done prior to it. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 004 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 005 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 006 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking,as always ACW.

Looking good with the wash there, Leon. Just a little FYI, though. The 2 smaller pipes on either side of the left exhaust are actually air intakes and wouldn't be rusted. You can see this in the following image.

Thank you Bill! I was worried a bit that it wouldn't show with the camo.

Looking good mate, now's the time to get the 95/5 mix of thinner/buff out and give it a couple of over all passes, it will tone down and tie it all together, I also give mine a third, and sometimes forth, on the lower half as dust build up is greater there.

Sean thank you!
I like your idea using the buff.I still need to do some chipping and seal the decals.

Nice Paint job, you had said, "I also posted my build in the Axis armor! You may have to search back a page or two to find it as I haven't had any progress on it in awhile. " What else do yo plan to do with it? The one I am doing, I just keep looking at it and adding things. That's the danger of an inexpensive kit (in my case an untouched 40 year old one) and an over zealous mind. I started with the zimmerit, then the bazooka shields. Followed by the road wheels and tracks. now I just purchased grille screens. I realize once I get the wheels all lined up to my liking, the model progress should go fast and I hope my paint job is half as good as yours.

The only thing left for me to do is get a dust coat on and some mud effects to the lower hull!
