1/16 Tiger ( RC)

Soo, anyone care to follow a little 1/16 scale Tiger come together .. ?

Did I hear a yes from the back row ? Allright then.

Started back in late 2013 when I got a great deal from a friend clearing out his hobby room.

while waiting for gearbox's and other parts I started on the Lower hull

Then it was left in 'storage' for a (long) while. But I picked up a 'late' upper hull from rctanks this spring, and just got about to work on this again .

Now before you go all willy Wonka here, this is a 'Heng Long' China tamiya copy sort of thing, it has flaws here and there. But I'm not going to correct any on this model. I got my wife on the back, With the ' you never finish any thing ' finger..

Pushing on With Adding Zimm and a few skirts.

I was about to ripp of the rubber zimm , but to speed up the build I just blended in some millipu here and there.

Moving to the back I was just about to glue the rubber Zimm, but changed my mind







Adding a few 'Ludwigs' parts also

Making really good progress Sollie! The milliput zimm looks a lot better than the rubber zimm. Nice work on the tarps,rust and camo.

started on a thought for the turret .






But after looking long and even longer , the chipping did not sit right , so a 'what if ' came to mind .

What if the turret was in for a tune up, fitting it With extra armor, but time run out.

Hehe Leon. I have been foolish before , and started a tread way Ahead of my own work.. So now I have saved up :-)

Some more photos of the Tiger.Not much different , but slowly adding speckle , splatter and fuel and oil stains . And a little tarp.. Need to say 'done on this one soon now I think :-)

Just a few mobile photos . Pritty much done now , as it's a full time runner . Might go back and add some mud on the Wheels, but will deside later after a few outdoor runs
