Then i added some Texture to the Hull Today I will be getting the Friul tracks drilled out and ready for assembly Spud Sorry another one of my newbie questions! How did you add your texture to the hull? For a cast effect I've seen references to glue being painted on and allowed to soften the plastic before it is 'marked' by a wire brush! Thanks Andrew

Looking good Spud! Did you use AM PE or was it part of the kit?

Pe was Part of the Kit and for the Rod bin i had that but dint fancy rolling the barss so i used a bit of styren tube i had and just used the rest of the bits to doll it up Andrew to do the texture mix some Tamiya Putty with some glue I used Humbrol liquid Polly then just dab it on in random patches some higher and some lower. once its dry sane it Fla and you will get the rolled texture. Since that pic was taken i sanded it again because that looked a bit odd as you can see in the newer photos it looks better Hope that helps you. I sorted out the suspension today and assembled the barrel. all that is left is to close it up and assemble the Track

That's real good looking rear! Better not let your wife see you writing things like that, or you'll end up living outside in the dog's old house!
