I wish I could say I came up with this idea, but I can at least share it. I've been painting a 1/35 figure in a U.S uniform and struggling to refresh some settled paint shades that have been sitting on the shelf for at least 2 years. Pop the top off the bottle, insert agitator, stir, cap, shake, test, shake more, test, clean invariable drips and repeat for another 5 colours you plan on using that night. After 35 minutes of getting paint ready to go last night I started to look into paint mixers. God bless this guy whoever he is. I didn't have a CR bag (even though it's made 30 minutes from here) so I tried this out. Orbital sander and dollar store dish rag. Vallejo paint sitting unmoved since about 2012 30 seconds later following the video technique. No damage to the sander, bottle or rag. Mixed beautifully with no effort and no mess. Even if you don't have an orbital sander, they're less then $20 and better built then any commercial hobby mixer. Enjoy. Jeff

Got to love sonic vibrations at that frequency to do the trick!

GENIUS! Fortunately (unfortunately?) I've not been back in the hobby long enough for my paints to get separated like this...but now I know what to if it does!
Thanks for sharing Jeff.

I am so glad you posted this. I am so sold... now I have to figured out who borrowed my sander many years ago. DAMN IT! Guess I will have to buy another one soon... thanks for sharing. +1 karma

Played around with the idea a little more late last night and discovered one possibly fatal side effect. It's loud enough to wake up my wife . Otherwise still loving it. Jeff

This is awesome! I was pretty sure a sander would wake up my wife as well. Now only if I could find a silencer.....

A additional feature might be a Velcro strip to hold the bottle. What do y'all think?, Joel.

I have many Vallejos that are badly seperated and the paint mixer does not help. This from what I have seen will probably take care of the issue. Thank you Joel.
