It's a fun little kit! Dragon provided a lot of interior for it...but most of it will disappear even if you have the little side hatch open. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Great start on the little panzer... I didn't even know Dragon is offering one with full interior now. LOL

IIRC the front glacis access panel is molded in place. No engine interior is provided.

Thanks everyone for your backing while this project comes together. I will say that even with the Hubble telescope these magic tracks are a kit on there own. The interior is nice but I may just give it a quick run through . Hop it continues to get better during the build.

Looking real good. I would still be tempted to give the interior full attention. Even if the options to view it are limited it is too good not to give it a full make over, in my opinion that is!

I am still debating about doing the interior because much of it will never be seen and more importantly the magic tracks are giving me a fit due to their small size. We shall see though. Check back later for what I try to accomplish.

Ahh detail it out.. That's what the camera is for. Will be following this build. People think i take all the photos to show off my work. I reality it is so I can see what the hell I built. We have a Deafpanzer so I am blindpanzer.

Magic tracks! The only thing magic about these tracks is the only thing harder to do would be sew two pieces if spaghetti together with one hand . But they had no flash and I have almost completed them.

I bet Dragon own Friul shares and add black magic tracks as an incentive to buy metal tracks Done a set of Friul's Panzer I tracks, and they were a breeze. Still, hats off to you for tackling them!

It is with heavy heart that I must advise my mighty Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.A was ruined by my inexperience and failure to properly fit the parts before gluing. The upper hull did not fit after I attempted to attach it. I then attempted to do some alterations and thus multiple parts broke free into the forbidden carpet. Recovery and repairs thus far have yielded less than hoped for results. That being said I have been able to save the tracks and hope to use some remains in a diorama in the future. I will begin another project this weekend and continue onward. This report is classified as Mrs. C3P0 gets her wires in a jumble when plastic parts end up in the carpet area in my man cave and get tracked into other areas of the house by my nosy Sheppard.

We all make mistakes from time to time fella, I also ruined a project after one year of intensive building and scratchbuild superdetailing a Comet tank. We are here to support you and make you start another kit, I'd say save as much as you can of this kit and buy another Panzer I in the future, you will absolutely master that one then !

I've had some limited success with getting on my hands and knees, putting one ear on the deck and tapping the carpet - the lost parts often do a little jump for joy.

I've had some limited success with getting on my hands and knees, putting one ear on the deck and tapping the carpet - the lost parts often do a little jump for joy. This method I use to use until my carpet grabbed my tossed me to the ground and beat me till parts of me were dancing. As I started to come around Mrs. C3p0 was standing there looking at me. I realized at this point the carpet belonged to her and she did not appreciate my actions. I got a Fernidan to build next hopefully the low part count and big parts will make part loss a zero

Well, things were looking good! Sorry to hear about the abyssal vacuum of the carpet wielding it's power over you modelling fun! A shame the boss was watching...a set of nylons over you vac wand is a sure fire part finder!! You could always make a nice little wreck out of it!! Then you could show off all that hidden interior!!
