Thanks Lucas! Appreciate it! There is some thanks to Alex from Uschi on this one...he provided me with some of his masks...the split ring camo on the turret and some wheel masks which oddly enough, I used for the MG ball mount painting...LOL!!

Love the work done on the hull. Maybe I'm overthinking the turret, though. The general shape isn't bad. I'm having problems trying to visualize how you could get much elevation on the barrel. The top of the nose opening seems a bit too close to the barrel to allow more than about 10 degrees (unless I'm looking wrong). Apologies for having a too active engineering brain.

Thank Bob! Nothing wrong with the engineering brain my friend... that's the beauty of the what-if...simple as that I suppose. Maybe, while I cannot confirm this, Jim (the designed) might have envisioned a somewhat SPG approach. What lacks in elevation is made up for in caliber and traverse? LOL!! A 12.8cm PaK 44 L/55 packs a bit of a punch...same piece on the JT as you know I am also guessing this was one of the last ditch efforts to get something big into the fight!!

Nice to see you get something in the lists for 2016 Todd! Don't feel bad, you're still ahead of me in that regard.

Todd
Very nicely done! Love the paint job.
How long it take you all to work out the build of the kit?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bill! In your defense...you have to actually build that Tiggy!! Thank you Andrew! The build was actually done by one of the members of my local group...Chris LeBlanc. I think it was 98% done by the time I got the kit. The turret was conceived and built...cast too, a while back I suppose. I added a few items, "builder's license" if you will, to add a few little details. End game plans for this is to hopefully enter it in the yearly AMPS show we all attend as a group effort.

I remember seeing Jim working on that turret at Armorcon a couple of years back...it going to end up in production at Celticworks?

Dupes....a Shilka! LOL...Jim was working on that turret about 10 years ago... It was nice to see it finally cast. Steve had mentioned possibly casting a few once he was up and running after his move down south. Not sure where he is with it though. Thanks Leon! Kind of a slow year at the bench, but I should manage to bang out another one or two before it ends hopefully!
