*NDP : Normandy Diorama Project. Hi friends, this will be my main thread for the rest of the year. I will also build and finish my Star Wars group build project Boba Fett's Slave I customized version. The photo below inspired me, GI's gathered around a destroyed Panther on the battlefield. The GI's have very interesting poses and I look forward to sculpt them. As you probably know I didn't give my Panther A Late a destroyed look, it will be a captured one. The photo shows trees and bushes in the background. I want to replace them by a piece of railroad with a locomotive and a flatbed wagon on it. GI figures will get briefed while they sit on the woodbed. More GI's will be added in the foreground. I can decorate this further with other items like a German bike, fuel drums,... Here's the finished build of the Panther (still some parts of zim to add with Magic Sculp). This is the locomotive I have waiting in my stash. And the flatbed wagon I will use from best friend ever who recently died from cancer. You can imagine I will do the best I can ! The Warrior Toad sculpt won't collect dust, it will be furtherly finished too. No deadlines, just F U N ! I hope you enjoy this massive ride my friends.

Heck! Some guys have all the luck (for having great ideas that means) and a workload to do! Crazy boy, you will come up with dozens of sculpted GIs??? Alone the landscape work will drive you mad, hehe, maybe I have some extra ideas for small set ups that will drive you into a working nirvana.
Project sounds very interesting and I am focussed on the figures, as you might know. And with a tear in my eye I say bye bye to our sculpt idea for the next 6 to 8 months. But ya know, I am in and standing at your site, Mate!

When I see the BR I remember an BR-52 dio (Trumpeter 1:35), done by a famous guy from Belgium or Sweden (cant remember the name, how blaming...) who made a crash scene with this thing. Away blowing time! Love such stuff on dios, it is very very interesting. Hope for a weathering galore!

Off to a good start on the Loco Guy! Loco Guy Sounds eh... I like the Trumpy kit Bill, it builds easy and quick so there's enough time left to fill the damn sinkholes ! Nicolae, I like to sculpt (or should I say 'try to' ?) most of the figures. If I find sharp lookin' figures I'll purchase them too of course. Thanks guys ! More choo choo activity today...one setback however : not many good reference photos to be found on the internet. Today's warming up, a pipe removed and replaced by a piece of tube. These hoses/tubes are sand dispensers, they were easily made of Evergreen stuff. The other side's sand dispensers and some extra detail fiddling (not all due to lack of references). The front plate of the driver's compartiment, and the hatches of the machine compartiment (I used the plastic handles as they didn't have any flash or seams. And since they're too small to put some good ol' Trumpeter style sink holes in them woohaahaha ! More soon, tomorrow's Toad's benchtime. Best regards ! AG.

Nice addition with the sand lines...I hear you on Trumpeter's unique brand of sink marks/ejector marks. They are the only manufacturer that has figured out how to do rectangular ejectors and then inevitably places them in the works possible places.
