Great work Guy! It does appear you have a clear plastic/glass-hating gremlin in residence: first your cabinet implodes and now a whole sprue goes AWOL On balance I think I prefer my carpet monster

Thank you gents, here's another update on the driver's cabin. The poor man didn't have a comfortable seat during driving, a simple retractable stool was installed in the right corner. This is the stool installed. The left panel of the cabin. The back panel, a small first aid box was fixed. The radiator was done too, not much of it will be visible after the build but it was fun to do. More soon. AG.

Thank you all ! Today I've added a wash (Winter Streaking Grime, AK's) to simulate a greasy film typical for trains, on the lower section of the locomotive. Later on I will darker grease too. This is the reference photo I used for the job. ONLY for reference purposes ! I used the airbrush for this result, and a battery of cotton swabs. Still one or two more grease sessions to go. Best regards ! AG.

Thanks gents, meanwhile I've given the wheels a metal look with Humbrol metals (a mixture of gun metal + chrome which can be polished after drying). Here's the result so far : I'll finish with steel pigments for more metallic effect. Currently I'm finishing the steps.

Another update on the wheels, they were glued on the axes. The wheels were finished with metal pigments. Slowly...

These bars (how are these called ?) were screaming for some extra details certainly after seeing references. 12 thin plates (Evergreen) and 88 small bolts were glued on as the Trumpeter parts were showing 0 detail, I'm not a rivet counter but I expected a bit more effort of Trumpy. Next to do is to airbrush them bars, to glue them in place... Best regards ! AG.
