Don't tell my wife that...she'd have a heart attack if I did nothing but ships all the time.  I hadn't planned to do 2 ships back-to-back but the Olympia build triggered the request for the West Virginia and it was easier to just roll right into it even though I had until November to get it done. The real problem with adopting ships as the main deal is that they are major space hogs. 1/700 doesn't take up that much room but you pay for it in other ways and I don't think I could keep my sanity if I did only 1/700 stuff all the time! |

Thanks CD, ships are something I've started to do more of on a regular basis and really enjoy...they just take a lot more time and eat up much more real estate when finished! PJ, I've been branching out some the last few years doing different things. 2012 was the last year I did nothing but armor builds for the whole year. Great builds especially the ships! Still impressed with five cause you started your new career that took a huge decent to your bench times. Thanks buddy! Only reason I can claim the 5 is that they were all finished before August. |
