...OK, maybe not EVERYTHING. BUT! If there is ONE thing I learned it is after you complete a build, you MUST have the ceremonial cleaning of the bench (I forget - do I bless it with incense or booze???) to prepare for the next build. With that in mind, VOILA!!! A "clean" bench, ready for my next project!!! Once again, I am returning to "the well" and pulling out one of my queens - the Accurate Miniatures SB2U-3 Vindicator. I started this a couple years ago, then got sidetracked because I needed to finish some Armor for Armor-Con (duh....). So this one made it to a shelf and has languished. BUT NOT MORE! TODAY I bring it back from the dead! This is where I left off.... ValleyCon is in two and a half weeks. I hope to bang this one out to accompany my PzKpfw 38t(G) so I can represent in both armor and aircraft.... we shall see, we shall see.....

LMAO! Clicked on the big 'Nice Karma' button. Bet it felt great when you have a clean bench when you start a new build. I am about to clean my bench before I resume my work on the Pz II. OLOLOL

I haven't seen my bench that clear since I first set it up! When you work a rotation of 3 or 4 kits at the same time you have to settle for the "organized chaos" method of operation.

Thanks, but no thanks Andy. Not only would I not be able to find anything, I'd hate to lose anything out of my giant 19 kit stash. Now, I guess we ought to turn this thread back over to Boyd.

Glad I'm not the only one!! Thats the good thing about building braille scale armour, it doesn't take up to much room on the bench enabling several kits to be on the go at any one time. Now back to the OP.... Nice progress Boyd Sean

I like everything about this thread!
A) I'm a big fan of the between-build bench douching. B) I'm big on getting rid of my shelf queens right now. C) Boyd is building! An aircraft, even!

Boyd Liking the progress so far and loving the nice clean desk!! On the bench cleaning front - I have very little choice but to keep it very clean...in fact I have to clean it at the end of every session ...as it's my dining room table!! Although I often manage to keep one small corner 'colonised' (centre right) with the excuse that the glue/paint needs to dry!! Andrew

OK, I've had a bit of a two steps forward, one step back thing going on with the Vindicator. First, the steps forward - not much progress but I did fill some gaps along the wing roots: As well as finished the engine and the cowling (it is black for two reasons - first because I sprayed some primer on the inside just so there would not be tiny glimpses of bare plastic next to the engine, and second because I'll prime the whole thing in black when I'm done building) And then the one step back - I managed to dislodge to instrument panel... I was able to fish it out but finagling it back in place has proven to be difficult to say the least. That will be priority number one for any bench time I get today.

Sounds like this is going to take some delicate finagling Boyd! Good luck.

You would be disappointed Dupes... its really not a greatly detailed kit..... theres about 12 pieces in total, not counting the two piece tires that have a giant seam line right down the middle.
