Somewhere in Germany, early 1945 There he sits on the street, waiting for the next bombers to attack his town. "Youre alive", they said. "This will keep them off here!" they said. He didnt even wanted to know, he only wanted some food and that war is over. A tribute to all who lost their lives and beloved ones in useless wars (arent they always?).

Before the paint comes the build - dont ask what details there are. Microscopic hand wheels, PE wing nuts and many many many [...] more. At least I dont have to build the indcluded trailer.

While I was going through several magazines for reference pictures, I found something that caught my interest: several people standing in front of a wall, looking at hundreds of little sheets of paper - every one stands for one or more missing person(s). So I put some miniature versions on the water well. Meanwhile, I glued the barrel too.

Thanks Bill. The main part is done and I recognized a little problem - the feet of the child are too short to reach the pedals (see arrow). So he wont sit on the seat like I planned originally and Im gonna need a suitable figure of an adult. The build of the Jaboschreck itself coulndt have been better. Lots of details and everything fits like I should. With one exception: the connections of the sidewalls/base of the gun. The connections of the side parts were both ca. 3 mm too long and needed to be cut.

You may laugh, as I did, but the small stature of Vietnamese drivers would bring blocks of 2x4 with straps on them, so they could reach the brake and clutch on American vehicles. Wish I had taken some pictures of them in Nam. Talk about slipping the clutch! Terrible!

I think you should be alright with that figure. The Wehrmacht uniforms didn't change much during the war as far as I know. Materials become more crude because lack of good quality fabrics, but the general appearance remained more or less. Also towards the later stages mixes from older and newer ones were carried anyway. Often against regulations. And as you state the Artillery crew had different colors of piping on the shoulder boards and perhaps the chest Eagle but that's about it, and since you have the Eduard set that should be covered as well. Not sure if the collars in the Wehrmacht had piping (except for the panzer crews). To be honest I know a bit more about the Waffen-SS uniforms than the Wehrmacht but these were my 50 cents Cheers

Getting closer... Looking good Lucas! You might want to flip the telescopic sight around and drill out the eyepiece. Right now it's on backwards. The larger round part would point towards the gunner and was used for direct ground firing.
