NIce work there Anthony! She looks good all built up! I reviewed this one for our friends over at the Big A and thought it was a solid offering. I remember it being a mixed bag (box) of other previous kits, but certainly serves its purpose! Always good sign to see the primer too....bring on that color!

Good progress on this one. I always have to chuckle when I see one of these because of that short barrel. The crew needs to throw some Extenze in the fuel tank.

I got the roadwheel forest ready to go as well as the shurzen panels assembled.I will give the Quick Wheel Mask a shot,I figured for 36 wheels it was worth a shot plus I got more IV'S in the stash.

NIce work there Anthony! She looks good all built up! I reviewed this one for our friends over at the Big A and thought it was a solid offering. I remember it being a mixed bag (box) of other previous kits, but certainly serves its purpose! Always good sign to see the primer too....bring on that color! The one "problem zone" the kit has, if such things are bothering you, is that Dragon took the mantlet of the L/70 gun (which is larger than the L/48) and just shortened the L/70 barrel to make it fit. Therefore the barrel is also too large in diameter! Also take note that the upper glacis plate is also the thicker 80mm version with the protruding edge on the bottom, which is ok for July '44 as this started to appear in mid-May, but it doesn't allow to build earlier vehicles. A funny side note is, that Dragon theoretically has the forms for a correct L/48 mantlet, as all the old Jagdpanzer kits had it, even the L/70 ones suffered from this! So back then the "problem" was exactly the other way around. If you happen to have an old L/70 like the "Johann Huber", I would recommend swapping the mantlets, otherwise it would be a safe option to build the #6369 just as the former #6589 August L/70(V), the original kit where it was derived from. All the parts needed are in the box...

Can't beat wheels on a stick Anthony! I'm at that stage myself with the current project.

Nice camouflage indeed mate, well done! Strange that Dragon in that kit added the skirts in just one piece. I agree with Dierk on that.

Look great Anthony. I think I have this kit. I'm pretty well stuck in "wingnut" mode just now but this might be a good choice for when I am ready to lay in the dirt again.

Looks good, Anthony, but sad news about the periscope. Any chance of fishing it out through the hatch with the scissor scope? If you can, you can remount it through the top by cutting the lower eyepiece flush.
