The bigger they are the better the pin wash.

I decided to work on and complete the turret.

First I thought the TC needed some period pin ups for the turret wall.









Next the TC needs a map of the trenches.





On to the painting.

Time to get back on track. Worked the caterpillar assembly. I replaced return roller spring and scribed wood grain on the idler wheel.







No I'm not done cleaning and sanding parts, but I'll get there.

Ok I've hit the reset button on this project. I intend to take this to Eaglequest the third week of June so time is of the essence. The paint scheme I was attempting was taking too long and was not working the way I wanted so all new paint was in order. Now it will have a two color camo representing a tank from an American tank battlion so bare with me as the FT is reworked. The follow ing picture kinda show the different stages of painting. The colors are olive green and dark yellow.

Hmm, I'm not sure I approve of you wimping out just because the camo scheme's a bit complex (say's the man who paints everyting 4BO ) but new scheme looking good, too! Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get it done in time and hopefully collect a gong or two.
