Very good result! Personally, I'd add a bit of dry-brushed steel to the running surface of the tracks, and use a background that contrasts more with the colour of the tank - just my two low-denomination coin's worth. As to what to build next? Use a ballpoint outer as a blowgun, close your eyes and shoot a wet paper ball at your stash, build the one it sticks on.

Good morning Dierk. Thank you very much for the compliment. Your "two-denomination coin's worth" is actually worth a good bit more. It's those comments that I welcome. What I have used in the past and with this tank build is graphite on the contact surfaces. It is there, unfortunately the camera did not pick it up very well. Also, I used the kits rubber band tracks. This was a first for me. The detail on them is quite nice and they actually fit without modifications. I was rather leery about any solvent based washed or any techniques that would be hard on the paint, since I wasn't sure how well the acrylic paint would bond to the surface. As to the back ground, you are right. I thought I had more colors for a back drop. I might have at one point and, they got used up for the kids "last-minute-I-didn't-know-anything-about-this" project. What color of back drop would you recommend for a color such as this? I am still refining my camera skills and would appreciate any pointers. Another modeling lesson learned.
Good morning Tojo72, Thank you kindly for the compliment.
Good morning Mike, Thank you for the compliment and, you are welcome. Welcome aboard.

Thank you kindly Andy. That means a lot coming from you my friend.
Good morning Bill. Thank you very much my good man. This also means a lot coming from you.
This has been one of the quickest builds I've done in a long time. About two months worth of fun. Right now it's down to a coin toss between GWH F-15I or Takom T-55 AMV with all of its ERA blocks. I'll have it figured out by the time I get downstairs....after my second cup.

Asking me for advice on photography would be the blind leading the partially sighted I'm still fumbling about myself - as a matter of fact I used a similar background to yours recently and got asked if I got the colour settings on the camera wrong if in doubt go for white or light grey. You'd be better off asking one of the pros - of which we have no shortage on MSC. I'd like to see you build the T-55 next.
