An excellent build!
I ordered in two of those Tristar kits a month or so ago for an up and coming multi kit project. Had one in my stash already, but just couldn't bare to cut it up. Just prior to this I picked the DML kit, and it looks like a Tristar copy. Looks like Hobby Boss is releasing the entire line of Tristar armor. I'll probably pick up a couple of their early Panzer IV kits in the future.
Just great kits! gary

These kits are the 'gold standard' IMHO for the 38t family and you've done it proud Brian. Nice work on the dusty panzer!

Really nice finish, I love the weathering on the wheels. I need to pick up one of these.

Thanks all for the kind words. In some ways the kit was an easy build, in others it was quite fussy. The road wheel torsion bar mounts are tricky and I kept having one of the little parts break off through out the process. Otherwise the detail is very good and I don't recall any fit issues. The kit included PE is very nice but the fenders are a little thick and the tracks are a PITA to assemble so I chose to add some aftermarket to the kit to address those two items.

One of most cool looking little panzers in its category... you nailed it perfectly!

Ohhhhh.. I do love a 38(t)! I've got that one in the stash (the Tristar one) and built one of their other boxings. Great kits! Yours looks great. I love the build up of sand/dust in the nooks and crannies!

Excellent job. I really like grey vehicles for a change and you did a splendid job on this one. And the dust effects are really nice.

Sweet build, Bryan! I wish I hadn't traded away my other one. Wingy - Squadron has all of the variants for under $30 each. No more 38(t) shortage!

Has Tristar gone out of business or have they just moved onto other things.

Ok, well that's a shame. Even though the models have survived, its not good seeing a company go under.

A belated thank you to all the kind words. I hadn't worked on this in quite a while but finally managed to build a simple base and take some final images. Additional images can be found here: Pz38(t)

The black background and wavy articulation make it look like it's riding on a magic carpet.
Beautiful little model, though.

Thanks John, George, Armorguy, Leon, and easyco69. Appreciate the comments. It was a fun little model to weather. The black background and wavy articulation make it look like it's riding on a magic carpet. Bwahahaha!
