In 1/16 scale ( and in full RC ) ther's been a few kit's out, but all have been With mixed variations of accuracy . Based on the KT lower hull, they were all short, so you were either forced to drive it about With that flaw, ore cut it , and add the extra to strech it you're self. And there were some issues With the superstructure having wrong angles. This has now been looked into and torro / Taigen have released a model With all these issues fixed. Out of the (wooden) Box it is about 6,5-7 kg. All hatches / hangers / hings , tracks , Wheels and small parts is in metal. it's about 66x23x20 cm in size After I have been running it Stock for a while now , I desided I wanted to make it more 'mine' Removing ( the molded on ) skirts and New Paint job was numero uno on my list. Hope you have time to hang With me as I do a little work on this big boy . Skirts coming of , now That involves a bit of hack'n slash , and some work With sheets of evergreen , not my strongest side but here is how I did it . With fenders of, time to remove the last strip of molded plastic. Also this is the part that needs filling inn later

This is out of my comfy zone , and I would think this small job is a no brainer for all that have been a little into evergreen sheet work , but I have to take my time not f... it up ;D Also, the Sharp eye'd amongs you probably have , ore can spot an error allready.. But more on that later Side plate cut to shape and holes for Tools/cables etc are drilled Add a few Ludwig parts

So why all the trouble , cutting and re building the sides you might ask. Well , I found another build tread , on a King Tiger , that had done somewhat the same, and remaking the fenders in 3mm brass. I liked what I saw , and wanted to try something same. Aber makes PE sets' for both tiger and KT , but not ( yet) the longer skirts for the jagd. So I have to make them my self

And about the mistake I mentioned earlier . Well I did not strike me before I poped open my 1/35 kit.. Since the top part can be released from the lower hull, I did not think of it when making the New side plate, that it should extend all the way to the top. Luckely It is only 0,5mm, so once painted and 'on the move' nobody will see

Niiice! I was going to suggest using brass sheet for mudguards, but thought you were going for the stripped down look, so I kept my trap shut. Don't know if it's appropriate, but I'd like to see it dressed in an ambush scheme.

for the most part I will most likely have it clean of skirts, the molded ones are 'not so nice' but do take a beating , hauling it from show's and what not.
Making them in brass, and maybe also add the ability to take them on and off as I like , and add damaga ( witch is my maine point for doing this mod )
