This is a continuation of my Panther ausf. a. The previous pictures are on the "Greetings" page of this site. This is one side showing a rough fitting of the doubled up center road wheels. I have yet to figure out how to attack the correct sizing for the boggie spacers, now that I have doubled up the center road wheels.

So you have an idea what I am trying to do, here is a picture showing a single center boogie with its spacer and a doubled up center wheel with a new spacer.

Looks like you've got a good start to solving the wheel problem!

Looks good so far, I'm sure you'll figure out a method to fix the spacing, its only plastic after all, never underestimate the usefulness of a sheet of plastic card and some basic hand tools to make washers etc

I haven't been here is quite a while. No excuses, here is what I have recently done with my Tamiya Panther ausf. A. I purchased Bronco's Early Type Workable Track Link set. Here are some assembled pieces so you get an idea. The only problem was that the Tamiya drive gear didn't align with the sprocket holes on the track. I have recently obtained the drive gear from an Italeri Panther (kit 270) and it works with my tracks. Next, I added some photo etch for the fan and radiator grilles. I used Royal models Engine Grille Screens (item no.611) for the rectangular radiator Grilles but for the round fans I used Armor Research Company's Engine Deck Vent Screens (specifically for this model). See pic below

Nice to see more progress being made! Tracks and screens look good.

Good work dragging this old pussy into the 21st century! I don't know how far you want to go with this one, but there should be a bolt in each corner of the radiator grills. For discussion porpoises only:
