Todd - hello. I am watching with interest the excellent progress. 2 comments. Maybe later, but they say that the right decision is always late))) a lot of things at the stern. And the front of the not filled with anything. Maybe add more tracks? Very a lot of fabric. Only now I wondered whether to replace the 2 of them to cut wooden logs?

Thanks Serzh and Dierk! I appreciate you checking up on me and the kind works! It does help a project fell more fun!
As for the front glacis...this can go either way. It is more of a preference call if the track rack is installed as this was not always used. While I like the looks of the rack in place and even with it filled with links I also like the open configuration. This also gives me a nice pallet for weathering...dirt, dust or mud. As for the extra stowage...for me, it is just contrast. There is no set amount that can be added...again, more a personal choice than anything else. While I would consider removing the two rolls at the base of the casemate, I know the overall look and feel changes drastically when the weathering goes down. I will wait and see how things blend as the work continues.

Sorry for missing the posts along the way here...work has been slapping me around a bit among other things. Slowly getting a handle on things though. Thanks Leon! Thanks Andy! Welcome home btw!! Value Gear is simply great stuff!! Hey BJ!! LOL...I think it was the whole hand! I got at least one finger out! Alittle of the end game started!! Thank you Michael! Some ugly ducklings come alive after a little color and weathering Hi Dave..it's okay, I am a bit late myself!! LOL!! Thanks! Playing around here and there lately, I added some layered chipping and began applying washes...some streaking. Right now, nothing more than thinning down Rust and German Camo Black Brown. Still a ways to go...kind of jumping around a bit.

Looking the bees knees Todd.
Chipping is spot on. Did you just use the Rust and black brown to achieve those results?

Thanks Wouts and Wes...much appreciated! Wes, the chipping comprised of two different base colors, a light sand and light green color first followed up with the camo black brown over the initial chipping. I feel this was going to give me a little more depth and variation to the colors. Then I then used the rust color selectively to certain areas along with the camo black brown for shadows in areas and to feather out the dark chipped spots!

What more to say ? The chipping looks super realistic and I enjoy the subtle rust effects and streakings.

Thanks you! Thanks Dierk! The "little" lady is from Armor35. I have their 1/20 version as well! I need to pull her out at some point this year and finish painting!
