Ah, a kit to drool for! My dad build it for me a 1000 years ago and I loved it. Later, I bought it new to canibalize the parts for scratch projects... Hope, you will build it like it deserve, without any superdetailing, scratching new parts and weathering! And do a high gloss finish!!

What a great birthday gift!!! I am not kidding... I build the same thing but many parts were missing because my mother bought it at a garage sale and it was already partially built. Great memories you have brought them back... can't wait to see you build it one day!

Aren´t these our memories at all?? Started building way back in the 70ties, with Airfix, Revell, Matchbox, those old Bandai kits (1:48 tanks with complete interiors!), Fujimi, was hooked by the box art and when you listen HOW I painted my FIRST 1:76 figure (Airfix Cavallery Trooper), you will laugh the hell out of you. I took the figure, dipped it in a pot of enamel colour, turned it and dipped it in another color. Great, a modern sculpture with NO MORE details and never drying colour (enamel on soft plastic, gulp). Those were the days, my friends...

Just remember Leon, those missiles can actually fire, so don't be getting any ideas about groundhog annihilation!

Bill i hate to disappoint you, but the missile doesn't fire on this kit.I can make it workable if i find the right spring.

Bill i hate to disappoint you, but the missile doesn't fire on this kit.I can make it workable if i find the right spring. False advertising! The box clearly states that they actually fire...you should call the Consumer Protection Bureau! I'm sure the fine folks over at Revell didn't want the lawsuit that would come with a builder or kid shooting their eye out with a plastic missile on these new kits...

Bill, i remember the original kit i built as a teen had the firing missile. This could be a reissue minus some parts. The date on the box is 2013 and this kit was made in Poland
