Hi, everybody! Seeing enough interesting and beautiful buildings of the courts, especially buildings of "Dreadnought" - Terry and "Olympia" - wbill76 (unfortunately, I do not know a real name), also I decided to assemble the vessel in love style - Paper models. Before I assembled only two vessels - the cruiser "Варяг" ("Varyag") (the photo, unfortunately, did not remain), and the Japanese battle ship "Fuso". My choice fell to the German battle ship "Admiral Graf Spee". I will begin to build with nasal superstructures.

Hi, everybody! The nasal superstructure of the battle ship is finished. It was necessary to establish on the fighting cabin a range finder and several devices on the deck near the cabin. The model is under construction only according to drawings and photos. The deck is made of separate cardboard strips. I will build further the central superstructure of the battle ship.

Individual strips for planks? I'll never complain about indy-links ever again (well, at least not for the next five minutes, anyway)

At first I line on a cardboard then I cut, the straws turn out. And then I paste on the deck and then I paint. If to you I interestingly make the separate photoreport on production of the deck of paper.

As paper models aren't often seen in this forum, I'm sure there'll be a lot of interest in some nice step-by-step explanations.

Not only is it paper, it's scratchbuilt from drawings! Now that's truly impressive. What scale are you recreating this one at out of curiosity?

Hi, everybody! I continue work on a nasal superstructure of the battle ship. Work on a superstructure tower is almost finished. On the left and right side of a superstructure established torpedo range finders. Also the firing post together with a nasal range finder of the main tool is ready.

Lovely camo work. I am curious about those 1/350 figures... how do you like them so far? I have been thinking about using them for my upcoming destroyer build.
