Nice weld detail but it needed a little putty . The DS tracks , not good , I'll need another source of tracks . So far the fit is good and the parts molded crisply with lots of detail . Several options are in the kit and because of this Dragon has made the instructions more confusing than necessary . See ya !

The ds tracks a the reason for me not to buy this kit. It´s a shame that Dragon is still using this tracks.

I have the same kit in the stash, interesting as there's artistic freedom for the camo.

Sick indeed Tojo ! Dupes , and how about rotating the turret ? Vind just like a bow and arrow ? Tobias I agree ! Its kept me away from a couple of Dragon kits . Leon , that'd be "long sighted" ? Guy that's what caught my interest in this kit . I've been looking for camo idea's .Have you checked the DS tracks ?

Hi Carl, I didn't open the box yet, DS tracks ? I hate them but I think Friul tracks will come to the rescue then, no ?

I'd gladly hoover up your guys DS tracks...great replacements for older kits I don't feel like sinking a ton of money in to.

Guy I was thinking about using the magic tracks from this kit . Dupes did you look closely at the picture of these DS tracks ? I tried straightening out the bent guide teeth but they wont stay straight , they really are junk brotha .

IT's a scandal this DS track set, really horrible ! The magic tracks of the F can be a solution I think, nevertheless I'd suggest to take a very good took at the pattern Carl.

Can't go wrong with a good Panther project! DS is something I stay away from if I can help it, had a bad experience with painting it with enamels where the enamels never cured and it stayed tacky forever...literally, as much as a year later! I've heard that you can use really hot water (aka boiling) to help straighten them out as they are supposed to have a sort of 'mold memory' akin to resin but those bent guide teeth are likely beyond saving.

Hi Bill !
This is my second kit with DS tracks and these are the worst yet. I don't know why Dragon still uses them .
Boiling water ? I might give it a try . Nothing lost if they shrivel up into a tan blob .
Going to look at some Fruils $$$$$$

There may be some suitable tracks in the Masterclub catalogue - if so, our own Martin will sort you out for less than the cost of Friuls.

You'd think you'd get better stuff for your money. Wait, this is Dragon! Despite the difficulties it's looking fine brother; I have tried Masterclub tracks and they are excellent as well as speedy in assembly.
Regards, Mark
