Picked this one up awhile ago, and I already see an evolution in their kits. The kit is pretty much your generic Tiger, but we also know they were oddballs. Kit comes with an Aber barrel, but the rest is what you expect from RFM. What has really caught my eye is the instructions! They must have listened, because they're better. Not perfect, but at least 70% better. The Furman Tiger was zimmerited, and they go so far as to give you P.E. tools to get the job done. Then in the instructions, they so you what & where to do the zimmerit. Never saw that before.
The tank builds as an April 1945 tank, and even has painting instructions for the time period. I might add they go so far as to do them in layers as on the real tank. gary
