stooped by the LHS awhile ago, and looked at a bunch of marked down kits. Saw nothing I wanted, but then I looked up. There sat two HK DO335's at 50% off! I snatched one up. Walked out the door for $88, taxes and all. Might add here that this plane is huge!

well I've emptied the box three times now just looking at the plastic. The engines alone are amazing, and use two and a half pages in the instructions. Just can't find anything to whine about. Is the kit accurate? Have no idea, but did find out they actually built a couple to the "zerstorers". The size of the thing reminds me of a modern jet!
A couple weeks back I bought the Kitty Hawk P39Q/N kit. I was really stunned by it. Part seems to be very good, but it like a lot of the others has the small short shot in the molding of the floor pan. Doubt one will be able to see it as the four air bottles will cover it. Yet the DO335 kit is that much more! Wish HK would do an A26 Invader!! Still wish Kitty Hawk would do a P63 King Cobra! With these two my life would be complete!

That's a good score on the Dornier. It's a seriously nice kit. My build is floating around here somewhere. You will enjoy it for sure.

That's a good score on the Dornier. It's a seriously nice kit. My build is floating around here somewhere. You will enjoy it for sure. I think the P39 will come first. Will be a beat up Russian tank buster. Yet I might hunt up a second one to try a P400 conversion. I Did go thru some pre build steps with things taped up, and the fit is excellent. Yet the best part is that I have a buddy that helped restore a couple of them, and he's a wealth of data. Especially on how the contraption works. As for the DO335, I'm almost overwhelmed! Just never knew these guys turned out kits this good. May have to buy their upcoming F4b Phantom. gary
