Looking good... get her painted! Hurry before the ice storm strikes your state I think. It is expected to strike Indiana too.

Joel i'm working on five kits at one time and i've been painting for two days all day straight. The StuG is for a GB on another site and I wanted to just keep it simple to get through with it. I've got other StuGs in the stash that I plan to add more detail to. Andy that storm is strong and headed toward us alright which is fine as long as the power stays on. The last ice storm we got our power was off for 14 days. Thanks everyone for your comments Tony lee

Nice work on an early Stug III. Here's a funny HA HA.....your first series of pictures showing the prepositioned parts including tracks. Well the tan tape or putty was cut so perfect, and both left and right sets had the tape in the exact place, made me wonder "what the heck are those"..... it only took me several minutes before my keen powers of observation keyed in on what the heck I was seeing.... Like I said I thought it was funny
Nice work...
Look what I just saw

I put at least five coats of sol on them. Even with a sealer coat of Future now they still stand up about the surface. I'll just have to live with it or get some AM decals for the next Tamiya build. Thanks Tony lee

Tony, I have read of modelers "sanding" the edges of decals after application. They were using 800 grit and up to "feather" the edges of the thick decals. This might be something to consider. Talk more soon, Joel.

Yeah, I haven't tried it yet myself. By the time I get to decals, I have too much invested to screw up.
