I have sprayed the green. I will get a pic in a few, but I am not so sure I like it...

I vote wheels. The worn through spot on the tarp is a nice touch.

Thanks Tony. Here are the photos. I have added a filter and one pin wash and some detail tool paint, that's it.

Tried out the technique using brush painting fine detail highs and lows on the wheels.

Coming together nicely John, have to keep reminding myself just how small this one is even in 1/35.

Thanks Terry. This has been a fast project. 2 weeks to this point. Too bad it will slow down as I wait for the 3D design for new rear tracks and bogies. Here is a test fit of the front wheel.

What is it that you have to wait for? Replacements for the kit track parts? Or is that just a mock-up you have there?

What is it that you have to wait for? Replacements for the kit track parts? Or is that just a mock-up you have there? The rear track you see is the kit part - very poorly detailed, and incorrect width. This will be replaced by a 3D printed part(s).

Looking good! How much are the 3d printed parts going to set you back, if I may ask? Will they also be available to mere mortals? Are you going to use crackle lacquer for the desert floor?

I bet more than the kit cost for the pair. The windows for the Dacha are around 20 bucks a pop, so I bet these are in the same ballpark. I have no doubt they will be available to all on shapeways. I have been thinking about that cracked mud. I am tempted to use crackle paint, but I may just carve it my self to get exactly what I want.

As I am suffering project ADHD, I have bounced back to this project. I have used Aves Apoxie Sculpt for most if the ground work, with some kitty liter and aluminum oxide thrown in for good measure.
