1/72 Eduard F6F-5 Profipack - Completed

Ok so its time I started getting some more wingy things completed as I have been slacking in this area for a while. So next up on the bench:

Rick - good to hear buddy. From my understanding this is one of the best Eduard kits....detailed and easy assembly. Figued it would be a great wingy warm up.....lol

So moving right along into the front office, assembly is strait forward. So it was time to paint before applying the PE.

I chose to use Vallejo 70.833 green for the CP color. Although not Vallejos model air if thinned correctly it sprays like silk. I mixed a ratio of 70/30 and added a couple of drops of Vallejos flow improver and mixed it in a new eye dropper bottle.


Once that was completed I hit some color on the CP and fusalage halves Color laid down nice.


Once everything had dried I started the PE process for the instrument panel and CP tidbits.

A little progress has been made.







messing with some fiddly bits at the moment. Found some parts are missing and the canopy fit is horrible. Oh well no worries just a warm up piece....LOL
