Good morning Leon. That is a mighty fine looking resin assembly. Can't wait to see it painted.

Sweet!! Nice looking engine Leon! Some fine work on the PE as well! Might need a real cable to support that hunk of resin!

Well, the pic shows it can be done! LOL What is the cable used?

Post by Leon on Mar 31, 2017 20:34:12 GMT -5
Todd, the cable is nylon thread! Not worried about it hanging.I'm wondering if the weight will lift the rear up.If it does i'll just have to lower the dozer blade and tuck it under the front to lift the front up for support.

Can you stuff a couple fishing weights or something inside somewhere?

Nice bit of plumbing Leon. Looks like painting will be a challenge with all those nooks and crannies.

Morning fellas! finished the build part of the sling and i like how it looks.I had a minor issue with the hooks and cable ends.I had to snip a small piece out of the hook eye and gently slip it over the cable end and a bit of CA to hold it in place. The power pack is finished and i want to look at a few ref. picks to see if i can add any more plumbing.I'll do a test hang on the M88 in a bit to see if it's going to play nice.I'll post pics when i'm happy with everything. 004 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking.

Back again fellas! Just hung the power pack on the M88 and it is looking good. The weight lifted the rear up a tad so i tucked the dozer blade under the front for support.I'm really happy about the results and how it looks.Hope you like it to. 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking!

Joel, the only way to make it look better is to get some primer and paint on it!
